Selon le Wrestling Observer, le sentiment général à la WWE est que l'Undertaker n'envisagerait pas de prendre sa retraite dans les prochains mois.

Jim Ross, un proche du Deadman, vient lui aussi de noter sur son blog qu'il ne le voyait pas prendre sa retraite au prochain Wrestlemania (organisé chez lui, au Texas), comme cela avait été longtemps imaginé :
